The image in the header of this blog will change from time to time (or so I’ll plan), and if it’s interesting enough, hopefully you will want to know more about it!

Here’s the story on the current picture:

I call it “Blue Sun” (click title to see full size picture), and this photo was taken through the windshield of a car. The sun looked really cool amongst the clouds and I snapped a photo with my Canon PowerShot A85 in auto mode, and this is exactly how it came out. I was amazed at how vividly blue the color was without my intending it (my guess is that it must have been the anti-UV coating on the car windshield which acted as a filter) I think it looks more like a Photoshopped picture of the moon.  One of those happy accidents!
